Mima: Definitely, doctors, they are somehow more emotional and closer, and in my case that was crucial to decide on the surgeon who will operate on me, given that the situation was serious, a benign tumor and the removal of the ovary. The male doctors were mentally rougher according to the principle, we will cut it all off for you, and the female doctors were more optimistic and calm and took into account that I have yet to have small babies:). All in all, I agree that an expert is an expert, regardless of gender, but sometimes the attitude of the doctor who you let take care of the most important thing in the world, your reproductive health and the most beautiful, new life you bring into this world, is important when choosing and deciding.:)

I always try not to leave out a single detail and to say everything, but because of this I have found myself in a situation where the doctor does not listen to me or blames me for something that is happening to me. I don't like that doctors are very vain, so they can never admit their mistakes. I changed my gynecologist because she prescribed me contraceptive pills and did not ask me if I was using any other drugs (otherwise our communication was minimal from the start, because she always interrupted me, as if nothing I said to her was important). At the time, I was on corticosteroids and beta blockers, which are contraindicated with oral contraceptives, so I was horrified by her procedure. Of course it never occurred to her to admit her mistake, so I never went to that doctor again.
